I am available to tutor:
I can't tutor:
I have been using spaced repetition for around 6 years, and I've been using SuperMemo pretty intensively for more than 2 years to learn programming. You can check out a more detailed article on my history with spaced repetition and programming on my about me page.
I started using SuperMemo back in February 2019 to learn about finance and investing because I was interested in equity analysis. 6 months later I had completely revised my original interests, and started to get interested in a much wider variety of subjects.
While the four years I spent using Anki during high school was focused on passing exams, my entire experience using SuperMemo was doing free learning.
I started learning to program when I started learning basic bash scripting to create the first version of the incremental media player back around 2 years ago.
Since then I have used spaced repetition to learn Python and C#.
In my experience, the key to success is focusing on [personal projects], using the spaced repetition system to learn programming concepts rather than specific details.
My goal in the tutoring sessions is to guide you towards developing personal projects and using the spaced repetition system to encode [programming language-invariant concepts].
